Oshkosh Corporation will be speaking and bringing pizza! The Oshkosh Corporation is an American industry that specializes in building specialty trucks, military vehicles, and access equipment among other things.
Siemens will be coming to speak about their company. Siemens is a global powerhouse headquartered in Germany. Their focus ranges from infrastructure to technology to make the world we live in automated, energy-efficient, and resource-saving.
Come network with the local alumni chapter over a virtual picnic. A link to the Google Meet can be found in the GroupMe.
The GBM will be held online via Zoom. Like always, if you are unable to make it to the GBM, please email Preston Spires with a valid reason for your absence at jspires2@vols.utk.edu.
A virtual practice interview session for members of our chapter will be held in preparation for the upcoming Engineering/STEM Job & Internship Fair on 9/28/20. Although there are many resources available to UTK students to prepare for interviews, we want to offer one more for our Tau Beta Pi members. Each participant will both be interviewed by and deliver an interview to another participant to gain a more comprehensive perspective on the interview process.
It is recommended that attendees have a resume prepared so that interview questions can be appropriately tailored by their practice buddy. A list of interview questions will be provided to each attendee as a guideline, although participants are free to ask their own questions as well.
