Sherrie began weaving five years ago and fell in love with Saori immediately. She has studied Saori weaving with several studios in the US and for two weeks at Saori-no-mori in Izumi City, Japan. Her passion is for encouraging others to have fun and to value themselves and their creative talents.

Our spirit is found and often rediscovered in nature, and it is this spiritual connection that nourishes and inspires Lynda’s art. She captures this “moment” with acrylic in a modern impressionistic style, using unique outlines and colors to “freeze" the continuous movement of nature. When Lynda was younger, she painted in the evenings and on weekends whenever she could. She retired from her teaching career in May 2014. She’s grateful to finally have the time now to focus on nature, family, gardening, and her art career—using her original style of creating serene images of nature, as seen in her impressionistic, contemporary paintings.

Originally Ed made bookcases, tables, aquarium stands and many other items. After moving to Tennessee, he was able to set up a woodworking workshop and eventually decided to try woodturning. He received his first lathe as a Christmas present in 2016 and discovered that he not only enjoyed turning but also had a natural ability. After making the typical bowls, vases, platters, and such, he started letting his creativity go wild, experimenting with segmented pieces—in particular, dizzy bowls. “What I enjoy the most is the process of trying to figure out ways to make unique things. I use different woods to make the patterns and want to make things that people will be proud to display.”
